Strategy first. Design second.

ABOUT

Fair Go Studio was built on the belief that a website should do more than look good. It should help people understand what you do, why it matters, and how to take the next step.

Most small businesses do not have a marketing department. They have a founder wearing six hats, a part-time admin, and a website that was built three years ago and has not been touched since.

That is the gap Fair Go Studio exists to fill.

I believe good design without strategy is decoration. A beautiful website that confuses visitors, buries the contact button, or never shows up in search is not doing its job. Every project I take on starts with understanding your business, your audience, and what you actually need people to do when they land on your site.

That thinking carries through to the marketing support work too. Whether it is brand messaging, content planning, or copywriting, the goal is always the same: clear, consistent communication that works for your business long after the project is done.

Design matters. It just works best when it is in service of something real.

The Fair Go Philosophy

About Anna Buckley

I grew up in Huntsville, spent five years working in international trade marketing in New York City, then seven in Sydney, Australia, before coming back to build something in Alabama. That time in Sydney is where the name comes from. "Fair go" is what Australians say when they believe someone deserves a genuine shot.

Across all cities, the pattern I kept seeing was the same: the businesses doing meaningful work were often the ones with the weakest online presence. Not because they did not care, but because good strategic support had always felt out of reach for organizations their size.

That observation is what eventually became Fair Go Studio.

Today I work with small businesses, nonprofits, and creative brands across the United States on websites, copywriting, brand management, and content strategy. I work with clients directly, without layers of account managers or junior staff, which means the thinking you see in the proposal is the thinking you get throughout the project.
