Family, maternity, and newborn photography in Huntsville, Alabama.

This project focused on creating a polished, strategic online presence that showcased her work, clarified her services, and transformed inquiries into a seamless customer journey from discovery to booking.

Caitlyn Porter Photography

Caitlyn Porter Photography had built a loyal following through Instagram and word of mouth, but lacked a dedicated online presence to support future growth. As part of a broader business transition, the goal was to create a website and visual identity that could work as a professional home base for the brand.

The project included brand development, copywriting, website strategy, SEO foundations, and a custom Showit website design. Existing photography was carefully selected, compressed for web performance, and optimized with descriptive alt text to improve accessibility and search visibility.

The result is a website that showcases Caitlyn's work, educates prospective clients, answers common questions, and attracts inquiries aligned with her ideal audience.

A nonprofit healthcare clinic providing free medical and pharmacy services to uninsured adults across North Alabama.

A complete website rebuild focused on accessibility, patient navigation, and a more sustainable platform for long-term management.

Community Free Clinic of Huntsville

As Community Free Clinic of Huntsville approached its 27th year of serving uninsured adults across North Alabama, the organization needed a website that better reflected the impact of its work and supported future growth.

With the original site no longer publicly accessible, I used archived content from the Wayback Machine to recover key information and rebuild the website structure from the ground up. The project focused on creating an accessible, user-friendly experience for patients seeking quick answers about services, eligibility, and support resources.

To maintain cost efficiency, I sourced and optimized royalty-free imagery across the site, creating a professional and welcoming online presence without requiring a custom photography investment.

Beyond the website itself, the project included domain and DNS configuration, website migration support, Google Business Profile cleanup, SEO foundations, and launch preparation. To support the launch, I also created branded social media assets to announce the new website, increase awareness, and drive visitors to the updated online experience.

The new Showit platform gives staff a secure, easy-to-manage website that eliminates the need for ongoing plugin maintenance and allows the team to make updates confidently going forward.

A New Leash on Life has been helping homeless animals across North Alabama for more than 20 years. As the organization expanded to multiple thrift boutiques, adoption locations, volunteer programs, foster initiatives, and fundraising efforts, its website struggled to keep pace.

The goal was to create a website that made it easier for people to take action while giving the team a platform that could support the organization's continued growth.

A New Leash on Life

As A New Leash on Life continued to grow across North Alabama, its website no longer reflected the scale of the organization or made it easy for visitors to find the information they needed. Years of adding new programs, locations, and services had resulted in inconsistent navigation, outdated content, and user journeys that made it harder for people to adopt, volunteer, donate, foster, or support the organization.

The project began as a website redesign but quickly expanded into a complete rethinking of the site's structure. I reorganized the information architecture around the organization's primary audiences, creating intuitive pathways for prospective adopters, volunteers, donors, foster families, and thrift shoppers. The final website grew to 15 custom pages, including dedicated location pages, improved service information, and streamlined calls to action throughout.

Beyond the website itself, the project included SEO foundations, Google Analytics and Google Search Console setup, image optimisation, redirects, launch planning, and technical migration support. I also developed training documentation and a handover guide so the team could confidently manage the website after launch.

The result is a modern, user-friendly website that better represents the organization's mission while giving staff a flexible platform that can continue evolving alongside the work they do throughout the community.
